The candidate can refuse the first housing proposal made to them.

If the candidate refuses a second proposal, their application will be cancelled for 6 months. However, if the candidate feels wronged, they can request, with justification, the lifting of this cancellation from the SLSP.

This request is submitted to the Management Committee, which can decide whether or not to cancel the cancellation.

There is no specific number of points to reach; the allocation of housing is also conditioned by the number of candidates for it. When a housing unit becomes available, it is allocated to the highest priority candidate on the list specific to that housing.

It is not possible to communicate your position because it changes regularly depending on other applications entered or modified. (An application can be 10th in week 1, and find itself 50th the following week).

We cannot give a timeframe for granting social housing because allocations depend on several criteria: A housing unit must become available in the locality chosen by the candidate. The housing must be proportionate to the candidate's household (in terms of the number of bedrooms). The candidate's position on the allocation lists (candidates are granted priorities based on points reflecting urgency based on supporting documents and the date of application).

The candidate must confirm their application between January 1st and February 15th of each year. The Company sends a confirmation request to be returned within the deadline. If there are changes in your household or income, you must attach all supporting documents (household composition, proof of income, ...). The application is cancelled in case of non-confirmation.

By mail, phone and/or email. It is therefore essential to communicate any change of address, phone number or email address.

Municipal sections are those that existed before the merger in 1977. Example for Liège: The new Liège municipality concerns all municipal sections. The municipal sections of Liège are: Angleur (4031), Bressoux (4020), Chênée (4032), Glain (4000), Grivegnée (4030), Jupille-sur-Meuse (4020), Liège (4000), Liège (4020), Rocourt (4000), Sclessin (4000), Wandre (4020).

You can choose 5 municipalities or 5 municipal sections across Wallonia. Consequently, you can only submit one application to the company of your choice.
